SPJ Direct Sellers

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

SPJ Direct Sellers is a Shopify app that lets a merchant manage a network of independent sellers (direct sellers): online applications, seller files, promo codes, commission calculation, teams and payouts. This policy explains which personal data the app processes, why, and for how long.

The merchant who installs the app is the data controller for the data of their sellers, candidates and customers. SPJ Création, publisher of SPJ Direct Sellers, acts as a processor on the merchant's behalf only (see our data processing agreement).

The app does not collect payment card data, does not track storefront visitors and does not use data for advertising or profiling. Data is never sold or shared with third parties other than the sub-processors listed below.

Retention

  • Unfinished applications: deleted 60 days after their last update; rejected applications: 90 days after the decision.
  • Seller files: kept while the collaboration lasts; the merchant can permanently delete a closed seller and their documents at any time.
  • Uninstalling the app: all of the shop's data (sellers, applications, documents, ledger) is deleted when Shopify sends the shop/redact webhook (about 48 hours after uninstall).
  • Customer redaction requests (customers/redact) anonymise attributed orders and, if the customer is a seller, their whole file.

Sub-processors

  • Shopify (platform, customer accounts, discounts).
  • Railway (application hosting and PostgreSQL database).
  • Resend (transactional emails to candidates and sellers).

Your rights

Sellers and candidates can exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection with the merchant who operates the store. Merchants and anyone with a question about this policy can contact us at nordship76@gmail.com.
